Recently I finished reading A Year Like No Other, and have found I really adore scenes where Snape must torture or abuse Harry in his guise as a death eater. Whether Harry grows to trust or love him before or after doesn't matter, but I like it best where Snape abhors what he's doing and struggles with hiding guilt/emotion. Slash or gen is fine, nor am I fussed on the type of abuse or torture. Can you rec me some more like this??

Hey, new here!

Thought I'd ask you guys for help finding a specific mpreg I read a looong time ago.

The set up is: Hogwarts years. Harry and Snape spent the summer together and got close. But once they returned to school, Snape pushed Harry, even though they both had feelings for each other.

I can't remember much of the middle, just that Harry continually tries to get back together with Snape. Draco is on Harry's side with this.

Snape ends up marrying a woman. And Harry, desperate to keep some part of Severus, starts planning a way to get pregnant and carry Severus' child in secret (with special complicated potions). He even uses Severus' wife for help, claiming that it's for Sirius and Remus.

He and Severus have a tryst in a shed around Christmas time.

Harry carries the child in secret, getting a special waist band thing that's covered in protective runes, and it hides the belly. He manages to hide it. He has the child in secret with house elf help. Remus and Sirius find out and agree to pretend it's theirs. Then Harry ends up getting separated from the baby and put into a secluded training hall.

And that's as far as it got when I was reading it.

I don't know if it's abandoned, completed or still a wip.

Finished the pathfinder, both paper and web versions, and submitted 4 hours before deadline. *does happy dance* Only one more major assignment, plus a final exam, for the two LIS classes, if I remember correctly. Will double-check tomorrow. Possibly a minor thing or two as well, not sure.

Also today took SO out to lunch, went to four stores for grocery and other shopping, and made a white-bean-and-greens dish that turned out pretty well (which is good since there's like 3 or 4 more meals' worth!). Watched part of ST:XI during dinner, SO's choice.

Tomorrow: walk Juno (hopefully) and/or do some yard work, work on resume and job apps, cook for the first half of the week, talk to maternal unit, and do some reading for classes.

Other things to do over the next week: start writing holiday letter/cards, make a lot of cranberry bread, possibly bake regular bread, write/edit some fic, work on last big LIS assignment, go to the art museum, cook a lot, clean the house, and do the last course preps for the term. I was really really clever and managed to schedule things so that I don't have any grading of substance to do over Thanksgiving, go me!

Hi all!

This is a general search for any romantic-comedy snarries -- a little romance, a little misunderstanding, happy ending.Not entirely out of character for either Severus or Harry. I don't really have any squicks, so pretty much anything is fine. I'm just looking for something upbeat, and ideally between 10 and 15 thousand words.
Completed fics only, please. Also, if anyone has stories that fit that are not on the main snarry archives/lists that would be great (though I'll be happy for anything)

It's over now the music of the night
So a good while ago I read a fic wherein the various houses put on musicals and Harry, Severus, Hermione and a bunch of others got involved in Phantom of the Opera. It was beautiful, heart wrenching story and in fact almost made me cry. Anyways, I can't remember its title or where I read it so that's my first request...

Now, that leads me to my next question.
Are there any other slash Snarry fics in which musicals are used in this way? And by that I mean in which Severus (or Harry) quote musicals or are involved in performing a musical?
I just loved that scene so much so I'm wondering if there are other fics out there like that one.
Also, does anyone know if there's a sequel to that fic?
